Our Story

4 years ago, we realised that most children in our state-funded primary school rarely, seldom, or never had the opportunity to visit the theatre, or experience the magic of live events. Our kids were missing out on vital Cultural Capital. Meanwhile, local and national venues and theatres were left with empty seats that went unsold.

The situation at our primary school mirrored the experiences of 1000's of state-funded UK primary schools...

No School Theatre Trips

No funding or enough staff in our school for theatre trips. School rates are often inaccessible to state funded schools.

👨‍👩‍👧

Families Not Booking

Busy parents out of bandwidth and budget. Going to the theatre had become a low, or no, priority for families.

Zero Relationship

Between our family community and local venues, with no avenue for communication.

So we did something about it and launched our own Events Club for the school. Along the way, we discovered how to increase group ticket sales for theatres, and encourage more families into auditoriums.

4 years on...

17opportunities to attend theatre, comedy, sport + one mum's night out
230+families have joined the fun
350+children at our school have now visited the theatre
2,500+tickets bought by our families to local venues and West End performances

Our Founder

Emma Love is a state school parent who never used to take the kids to the theatre and live events, but goes quite a lot now — particularly if everyone else is going too!
